Cert 3 in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle)

Students will gain practical knowledge on workshop operational procedures. They will learn how to service, repair, and diagnose faults on motor vehicle with weight up to 4.5 tonnes, including the machine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, electrical system, and other components.

Career Options: Motor Mechanic, workshop owner / business owner.

Entry requirements: IELTS 5.5, and finished Year 10, 11, or 12 (varies, depends on the school chosen)

Duration: 1-2 years (depends on the school chosen).
